How can mega-cities balance energy supply and carbon reduction?

According to its introduction, at present, the second power plant and the third power plant outside of Shenneng, which belong to Shenneng, are undergoing desulfurization transformation, thus further improving the desulfurization capacity of the generating units and reducing the sulfide emissions required per unit of power generation. The second power plant in Wujing is undergoing renovation of high-temperature sub-critical units to improve coal utilization efficiency. After the renovation, coal consumption for power supply can be reduced by 25 g/kWh under 65% load conditions, which is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by at least 180,000 tons per year.

  Liu Wei said to the surging news, as of the end of last year, the new energy business of Shenneng shares across the country nearly 20 provinces, the next step will be to expand the direction of offshore wind power and Shago desert and other large-scale large base projects. With a planned installed capacity of 1.2 million kilowatts, Shenneng's Hainan CZ2 offshore wind power project is the first offshore wind power demonstration project in Hainan Province, "This project has already obtained the approval documents from the Development and Reform Commission of Hainan Province, and is undergoing construction procedures, and will substantially start construction in the near future."

  Compared with the star clean coal power technology that has led its global counterparts for more than a decade, the hydrogen energy chess game built by Shen Energy in recent years is slightly low-key, but has taken shape.

  Shanghai is building a highland of hydrogen energy industry. "Hydrogen energy is an important part of Shenneng Group's strategic emerging industries." Ye Chuhua, deputy director of hydrogen energy office of Shenneng Group and deputy secretary of the party committee and general manager of Shenneng Energy Creation under Shenneng Group, told reporters that the average daily hydrogen refueling capacity of the oil-hydrogen joint station on Pingxiao Road, which is laid out in the new area of Lingang in cooperation with PetroChina, has exceeded 80% of the designed capacity. "The design hydrogen refueling capacity of one station is 1 ton per day, and the average daily refueling volume has exceeded 800 kg recently. There are often vehicles lining up at the entrance of the hydrogen refueling station waiting for hydrogen refilling."

  The infrastructure is only part of the layout of the whole industry chain. According to Ye Chuhua, the development of hydrogen energy business of Shenneng is in the pattern of "three vertical and three horizontal": "three vertical" focuses on the high-end manufacturing field, laying out three major products of hydrogen preparation, storage and transportation equipment and fuel cell, forming the high-end manufacturing industry cluster of hydrogen energy upstream, midstream and downstream, with Zhejiang Blue Energy, Hydrogen Morning Technology and Shanghai Kunhua, Zhejiang Blue Energy, Hydrogen Morning Technology, Shanghai Kunhua, RuiBike and other head companies in different parts of the hydrogen industry chain are the companies that Shen can lay out; "three horizontal" around the application scene to build, to build the Shanghai hydrogen energy base, the provincial and foreign hydrogen energy industry chain application integration base, hydrogen energy multiple application scene, etc., to realize the complete commercial closed loop of hydrogen energy applications.

  According to Ye Chuhua, Shanghai will also form a multi-way hydrogen source to guarantee the development of Shanghai's hydrogen energy industry in the future. In addition to chemical by-product hydrogen, it is expected to realize electrolytic water hydrogen production from offshore wind power, long-distance hydrogen transmission from renewable energy resource-rich areas and biological hydrogen production in the Yangtze River Delta. "In three to five years, the main application areas of hydrogen energy will still be mainly transportation. In another five to ten years, hydrogen energy will also be applied on a large scale in the difficult emission reduction areas of industry. In another long term, hydrogen energy will enter the residential life scenario."
