Pesticides & fertilizers
Description
Pure product is white granular or needle-like, prismatic crystal, mixed with heavy metals such as iron, it is light red or yellow. It is tasteless and odorless, easily soluble in water, ethanol and benzene, and insoluble in ether and chloroform. At 20 ° C 100 kg of water can dissolve 105 kg of urea, and absorb heat when dissolving. The aqueous solution is neutral. The nitrogen content of the pure product is 46.65%, and the agricultural urea is 42% to 46%. It contains a small amount of biuret, generally less than 2%. It is usually harmless to crop growth; the specific gravity and bulk density of urea are small, and the fertilizer weighs 0.65 tons per cubic meter
Urea is a neutral fertilizer and does not contain harmful ingredients. The hydrolyzed products NH+4 and HCO3 can be absorbed and utilized by crops. It is applied year after year and generally has no adverse effects on soil
properties. It is suitable for various crops and soils, and its fertilizer effect is similar to that of ammonium sulfate
with equal nitrogen content; it is better than ammonium sulfate for "aging" paddy fields that lack active iron and are
prone to hydrogen sulfide poisoning.
