Deep-sea oil and gas exploration and development has become an important force to ensure energy security

2023/7/3

Recently, China's first self-operated ultra-deepwater gas field "Deep Sea No. 1" has been put into operation for two years, and the cumulative production of natural gas exceeds 5 billion cubic meters. In the past two years, CNOOC has continued to make efforts in deepwater waters, and has explored and developed 12 deepwater oil and gas fields, and will produce more than 12 million tons of oil equivalent in 2022, marking the fast track of China's deepwater oil and gas exploration and development, and becoming an important force to ensure national energy security.

The commissioning of the "Deep Sea One" gas field marks the comprehensive realization of China's offshore oil industry from 300 meters deep water to 1500 meters ultra-deep water leap. The core equipment of the field, "Deep Sea One" energy station, is the world's first 100,000-ton deep-water semi-submersible production and storage platform, which was independently developed and built in China. In the past two years, the daily production capacity of natural gas has increased from less than 7 million cubic meters at the beginning of production to 10 million cubic meters, becoming the main gas field of energy supply from sea to land in South China.

In order to manage and use this great weapon, "Deep Sea One" team carried out systematic research work, in the absence of domestic precedents to draw on, to explore a set of "Deep Sea One" operation and maintenance methods. "At the beginning of this year, we made the gas field have the ability to produce gas remotely in typhoon weather through technical transformation, which can increase production by more than 60 million cubic meters per year." Li Zhi, director of the "Deep Sea One" gas field, said, "At present, we are relying on the 'Deep Sea One' energy station to build the 'Deep Sea One' Phase II project. Economically and efficiently develop China's first deep-water high-pressure gas field, and the peak annual production of the entire 'Deep Sea No. 1' gas field will be increased by 50% after it is put into operation."

Not long ago, the cumulative production of crude oil from the Liuhua 16-2 field group located in the Pearl River Estuary Basin in the South China Sea exceeded 10 million tons. As the deepest oil field group developed offshore in China, Liuhua 16-2 oil field group has an average water depth of 412 meters and has the largest underwater production system for oil and gas fields in Asia.

During this year's Dragon Boat Festival, in the southeast of Hainan Island's Lingshui sea, the 115.5-kilometer-long "Deep Sea One" atmospheric field phase II key control project - 20-inch submarine long-distance pipeline laying completed, which is China's longest deep-sea oil and gas pipeline, marking the China's deep-sea long-distance submarine pipeline construction capacity and deep-water equipment technology has achieved an important breakthrough.

At present, CNOOC has mastered a series of offshore oil and gas construction equipment with large lifting pipe-laying vessels, deep-water robots and 3,000-meter deep-water multifunctional vessels as the core, and formed a complete set of key technology capabilities for offshore engineering represented by deep-water semi-submersible platforms, deep-sea floating wind power and underwater production systems.

In the past two years, China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) has repeatedly achieved the highest level in the field of deep-sea oil and gas engineering construction, and on October 3, 2022, Asia's first 300-meter deep-water catenary platform "Sea Base No. 1" was put into operation, marking China's success in opening up a new mode of oil and gas development on deep-water pile-based platforms. "More than 97% of the equipment of 'Sea Base One' is designed and built by domestic independent, achieving 2 world firsts and 21 domestic first innovations, perfecting the whole life cycle standard procedures of deepwater catenary design, construction, installation, inspection and abandonment, and establishing a complete technical system. " Gao Shuang, Deputy General Manager of Deepwater Engineering Construction Center of CNOOC Shenzhen Branch, introduced.

Liu Xiaogang, general manager of CNOOC Hainan Branch, told reporters that in the Baodao Depression, which had not been explored for four times, the thickest gas layer in a single well was drilled in the deep sea area in the western waters of the South China Sea, and the first deep sea deep atmosphere field in China, Baodao 21-1, was discovered, achieving a major breakthrough in the exploration of the Baodao Depression for nearly half a century.

Up to now, China has discovered more than 10 large and medium-sized oil and gas fields in the relevant deep-water waters, laying a solid foundation for increasing the storage and production of deep-sea oil and gas fields.

JIN DUN CHEMICAL has built a special (meth) acrylic monomer manufacturing base in ZHEJIANG province. This makes sure the stable supply of HEMA, HPMA, HEA, HPA, GMA with high level quality. Our special acrylate monomers are widely used for thermosetting acrylic resins, crosslinkable emulsion polymers, acrylate anaerobic adhesive, two-component acrylate adhesive, solvent acrylate adhesive, emulsion acrylate adhesive, paper finishing agent and painting acrylic resins in adhesive. We have also developed the new and special (meth) acrylic monomers and derivatives. Such as the fluorinated acrylate monomers, It can be widely used in coating leveling agent, paints, inks, photosensitive resins, optical materials, fiber treatment, modifier for plastic or rubber field. We are aiming to be the top supplier in the field of special acrylate monomers, to share our rich experience with better quality products and professional service.
