   In the context of accelerated energy change and "double carbon" target, the development of clean and low-carbon hydrogen energy has attracted much attention. In recent years, many places in China have actively seized the hydrogen energy development track, and a number of industrial clusters have emerged at an accelerated pace and the application fields have been extended.

  Experts say that all places should strengthen the collaborative development, focus on breaking the technical bottleneck of hydrogen energy industry, form the ecology of hydrogen energy diversified applications, expand the application scenarios according to local conditions, and promote the quality and upgrading of the industry.

  Local Planning Intensive Introduction

  Recently, the "Implementation Plan for Promoting High Quality Energy Development in Guangdong Province (2023-2025)" was released, proposing to accelerate the cultivation of the whole industry chain from hydrogen preparation, storage and transportation, fuel cell power stack to key components and power system integration, increase the supply capacity of hydrogen through multiple channels, build hydrogen storage and transportation plus infrastructure moderately in advance, and make use of the first-mover advantage of low-temperature hydrogen fuel cell industry to build a trillion-yuan new energy industry.   Application scenarios are getting richer day by day

  In terms of demonstration application, China has carried out demonstration application of hydrogen energy in typical scenes, and initially opened up the whole industry chain of hydrogen energy "production-storage-transmission-use".

  Guangdong is a large province in developing hydrogen energy industry in China, which has gathered more than 400 hydrogen energy enterprises with industrial output value of more than 10 billion yuan, covering the whole industrial chain of hydrogen energy, with remarkable industrial clustering effect, and the fuel cell vehicle industry is at the leading level in China. Shandong has formulated and introduced standards to comprehensively regulate the construction of hydrogen refueling stations, and as of the end of last year, a total of 30 hydrogen refueling stations have been built.   At present, Shanghai has formed industrial clusters in hydrogen production, storage and commercialization, and continues to explore innovative hydrogen energy application scenarios.

  Guan Qingping, a member of the Party Committee of Shanghai International Automobile City (Group) Co., Ltd, introduced that the city pays high attention to the development of hydrogen energy industry and fuel cell technology, and will subsequently strive for more demonstration operation tasks in the fields of express transportation, fresh cold chain, auto parts transportation, and residual earth sanitation.

  Accelerate the breakthrough of technical constraints

  At present, China's hydrogen energy industry is still in the early stage of development, facing challenges such as high cost, weak innovation ability and low level of technology and equipment.

  Lin Junfeng, president of Foshan Hydrogen Energy Industry Association, said that Foshan is more successful in the downstream application of hydrogen energy, but there is still the problem of higher cost of hydrogen production and transportation.

  Lu Chihua, deputy director of Foshan Xianhu Laboratory, introduced that Xianhu Laboratory ammonia hydrogen fusion new energy concept will help solve the problem of high safety, low cost, cross-regional storage and transportation problems and mismatch between supply and demand of hydrogen sources.

  "Scientific research and financial investment should be increased to reduce costs and promote large-scale applications."
