They have similar properties to alkanolamines, but they are more stable and less volatile.

    Nonionic antistatic agents can be used for various applications, such as plastics, textiles, paper, leather, rubber, metal, and electronics. They can be added during the manufacturing process or applied as a coating or a spray after the production. They can improve the appearance, performance, and safety of products by preventing dust accumulation, spark generation, shock hazards, and electrostatic discharge.
