Applications:

1.     HFIPA copolymers can be used as a skin material of optical fiber to reduce the transmission loss;

3.     HFIPA copolymers emulsion can be used as transparent films and coatings;

4.     HFIPA copolymers can be used for the preparation of ink, with good print quality;

5.     HFIPA copolymers with PVDF can be used to prepare transparent fire-retardant plastics;

6.     HFIPA copolymers can be used to prepare a photosensitive / radiation-sensitive resin and film;

7.     HFIPA copolymers can be used as coatings for implantable medical devices.

8.     HFIPA can be used as monomer of polymerizable composition for producing optical device;

9.     HFIPA can be used as polymerizable monomer for hair treatment, such as giving hair a body, giving hair a wave, curling hair, restoring damaged hair, styling hair, improving hair static control, improving hair slip, improving hair smoothness, improving hair luster, preserving a particular hairstyle, generating a particular hairstyle, improving hair optical properties, improving hair elasticity, improving hair color, improving hair shine, improving hair strength, producing desired hair characteristics ( Patent: US2008/66773 A1, 2008).

General hints:

Combustible! Polymerization may be initiated by contamination with peroxides, azo compounds, heavy metal ions, tert. Amines, S compounds. Polymerization is also induced by light. Atomospheric oxygen saturation in the monomer is necessary for stability. Storage temperatures should not exceed 35.
